Our Environmental Policy

Redwood is committed to reducing its environmental impact across its business and outsourced operations. Our focus relates to ensuring sustainability and efficient use of resources, sharing best practice on climate change with all of our supply-chain partners. We operate a measurement, risk, target and review system which seeks to maintain a robust and credible approach.

For 2010 our main objective is to integrate ISO 14001 environmental management system in to our day-to-day business practice to demonstrate our global commitment to all our stakeholders.

Responsible Sourcing

At the beginning of 2009, Redwood recorded a 100% responsible fibre sourcing record. Redwood are both “Forest Stewardship Council” and “Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification” chain of custody certification. Additionally, we also use recycled content papers where they are a minimum 80% post-consumer waste or are also combined with Forest Stewardship Council pulp.

In line with PPA guidelines all the polywrap packaging used in mailing our magazines is oxo-degradable, which means it degrades quickly and safely compared to normal plastic packaging.
